Mazuma can help your business save stress, stay compliant, and easily file and distribute 1099s. Any client who opts in can take advantage of Mazuma’s 1099 filing and distribution service.

The deadline to opt-in is December 31st. To opt-in, simply fill out this form and we’ll work with you to complete your 1099s.

Next Steps

Once you have opted in to our 1099 services, a new task will be created and appear on your Mazuma Dash homepage. Here, you will need to upload a W9 for every contractor who you would like us to file a 1099 for. Once we have those W9s, we will send you a quick ledger to review to make sure we have all the details we need. From there, our team will take care of the rest!

Do You Need to Send 1099s?

Are you wondering if your business needs to file a 1099? If you’ve paid someone who is not an employee for work or services this year, you likely have to file Form 1099-NEC. Failure to do so could result in fines from the IRS.

If your payment meets the four following conditions, you likely need to report the payment to the IRS on a 1099.

If you have any questions, reach out to our team! We can help walk you through the process and whether or not you are required to file a 1099.
